If Jesus said Stand Up... Get Ready

There is a serious problem with the "gospel" being preached in many places. It is something like: "I accept Jesus to receive, change, improve, prosper"... and though all this is in part true, there is an important factor we lose and it's that when we "accept Jesus", we become agents of transformation for the Kingdom of God and more than living for ourselves, God recruit us to bring hope to those around us. In this work we extend grace, love, peace, help... then, the Kingdom of God comes to people who never thought.

There is a story I want to share. Because Peter had a very big mouth and was always saying things out of place, Jesus healed his mother-in-law... LOL... Just kidding.

In one of those trips where Jesus was preaching and healing, he had to visit Peter's house. There he found Peter's mother-in-law with fever. Look what happens:

Matthew 8:14-15 (NIV)
"14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him."

It's very interesting what happens. The woman is healed and she didn't wait until sunday to share her testimony in Church, neither went on tour sharing her testimony on other ministries. The woman didn't threw herself on her knees to pray. The woman didn't collapsed in tears of gratitude to Jesus. The woman stood up and began to serve Him. It's the same with the apostles, "Follow Me"... period... with no discipleship... with no baptism... with no proof of power... "Follow Me"... No better discipleship than
serving Jesus...

"If Jesus said Stand Up... Get ready", because you haven't been called to live the benefits of the Kingdom, without getting actively involved in the demonstrations of the Kingdom here on earth and in recruiting others to come with you.

¿Bench-warmers Christians? Out. ¿Religious Critics? Out. ¿Fashion Critics?... ¿Criticizing clothes? Out.

If God removed evil from your life ... Stand up and begin to spread the message. If God is still working, welcome to the group... Stand up and share the good news of salvation... "If Jesus said Stand Up... Get ready.

JUST SAYING!!!

God bless you,
